It’s all about performance, and Moonshine Inks produce a lighting effect similar to the luminance of the moon that lasts all night long baby. (Sorry couldn’t resist!). Moonshine inks also come in a range of night colours as well. |
The product development behind Moonshine is serious business. It’s taken years to get here, and no other company in this world (or out of this world) can deliver like MoonShine. But we don’t take ourselves too seriously, so we named the colours after our favorite drinks. |
Moonshine Inks were developed as a “spin off” from safety related products where
lives depend upon performance and reliability.

Glows for hours not minutes
Unlike previous incarnations of “glow inks” MoonShine really delivers glows that
last for hours and not minutes.
Safe and durable
MoonShine inks are non-toxic, non-radio active and suitable for use in
children’s products. Sufficiently durable to standup to real world use and
repeated laundering.
Readily used by most screen printers
Implemented as an industry standard plastisol, most screen printers are readily
able to produce great results. The biggest differences to using regular inks are
screen size and “flashing” between colours.

Sales Success for Early Adopters
New designs incorporating MoonShine Ink’s ‘all night glow’ colours are proving a great sales success for designers and printers.
"I sold out my first print run immediately and only wished I printed more tees" commented Jordan from JL Design a leading sportswear manufacturer in Los Angeles.
"What is clear is that when these inks are used in new designs the customers find them ‘hot’ and they sell out’."
John Painter debuted his first line of shirts incorporating MoonShine Inks under the Sandstar name during the US holiday weekend of Thanksgiving 2010 and quickly sold out. He added a new design for Halloween, printed more shirts and again sold out.
Painter continued to create new designs for holiday events including New Year’s 2011 and Spring Break 2011. Each time he printed more and each time the shirts sold out.
